By accessing or using the Trovvy mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Trovvy, LLC ("Trovvy," "we," "us," or "our").
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
3. Account Registration
To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
4. Description of Service
Trovvy is a family-first pet management platform that provides:
- Pet profiles with comprehensive attribute tracking
- Vaccination tracking and medication reminders
- Training and behavior tracking with verified certifications
- Service provider marketplace (trainers, walkers, sitters, groomers, behaviorists)
- Pet social features and QR code sharing
- Microchip registry and lookup
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Provide accurate information about your pets
- Respect the privacy and rights of other users
- Not misuse or abuse the Service
6. Service Provider Terms
If you register as a service provider (Trainer, Walker, Sitter, Groomer, or Behaviorist), you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your qualifications and services
- Maintain appropriate insurance and licenses as required by law
- Honor appointments and commitments made through the platform
- Comply with our fee structure (5% platform fee, capped at $49/month)
7. Payments and Subscriptions
Service providers receive payments through Stripe Connect. Trovvy charges a 5% platform fee on all transactions, capped at $49 per month. Premium subscriptions for pet owners provide an ad-free experience.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and all content, features, and functionality are owned by Trovvy and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TROVVY DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF INFORMATION PROVIDED BY USERS OR SERVICE PROVIDERS.
Trovvy is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. Always consult with a licensed veterinarian for medical advice regarding your pets.
10. Account Termination
Deletion by You: You may permanently delete your account at any time through the app (Profile > Delete Account). To complete deletion, you must verify your identity by entering your password or re-authenticating with Google/Apple. Upon deletion:
- Your access to the Service is immediately and permanently revoked
- All active appointments, class enrollments, and pending services are cancelled
- If you are a service provider, your active classes are cancelled and enrolled students are notified
- Your personal information is immediately anonymized (see our Privacy Policy for details)
- Your OAuth connections are removed, allowing you to register again with the same accounts if desired
No Reactivation: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you wish to use Trovvy again after deleting your account, you must create a new account.
Alternative Deletion Method: If you cannot access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing legal@trovvy.com with the email address associated with your account.
Termination by Trovvy: We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms.
