- Account Deletion: Permanently delete your account directly in the app (Profile > Delete Account). You will be required to verify your identity by entering your password or re-authenticating with Google/Apple. Upon deletion, your personal information is immediately anonymized and all active bookings are cancelled. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the app to delete your account, you may request deletion by contacting legal@trovvy.com with the email address associated with your account.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active.
7.1 When You Delete Your Account
When you delete your account through the app, we immediately:
- Anonymize your personal information: Your email, name, phone number, profile photo, and other identifying information are permanently removed or replaced with anonymized placeholders
- Cancel active bookings: All pending appointments, class enrollments, and service requests are cancelled
- Remove authentication data: Your password and OAuth connections are deleted, allowing you to register again with the same email or OAuth account if you choose
- Deactivate associated profiles: If you are a service provider, your trainer/walker/sitter profile is deactivated and anonymized
We retain anonymized records (which cannot identify you) for referential integrity and audit purposes. This ensures that other users' data (such as class enrollment history) remains consistent.
7.2 Data We May Retain
Certain data may be retained as required by law, including transaction records for tax purposes and records necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
